大学英语课程目标探讨--以民办高校为例

本文运用课程与教学论的理论对大学英语课程设计目标进行讨论。认为结合民办高校办学实际的大学英语教学改革应适应市场需求,以后现代课程理论为基础,把英语教学提升到外语教育的高度。即以培养语言运用能力为核心,在语言教学过程中体现教育的文化目的,通过网络教学,培养学生自主学习意识,推行非线性的课程模式,促进高级应用型人才的教育目标的实现。

On the Goal of College English Course: a Case of Non-governmental Institution of Higher Learning

Based upon the theory of course and pedagogy,the paper discusses the designed goal of College English course,holding that College English teaching reform should meet the need of the market and that,based on the postmodern course theory,English teaching should be raised to the height of foreign language education,i.e.to take as the core cultivating the ability of applying the language,to reflect the cultural goal of education in the course of language teaching,to develop the students' awareness of independent study through an online course,and to implement non-linear course mode so as to realize the educational goal of training senior practical talents.
