How Has the CPC Summed Up Historical Experiences Scientifically

It is one of the fine traditions of the CPC to know how to sum up historical experiences scientifically. The CPC has kept on combining the fundamental tenets of Marxism with concrete conditions of China so as to promote constantly the theoretical consciousness of the party; insisting on the basic stand, viewpoint and method of dialectical materialism and historical materialism to seize the reality of Chinese social development and to sum up and analyze the history, current situation and problems of the Chinese revolution and construction according to the principle of seeking truth from facts; adhering to dialectical thinking to reveal the inner logic and contradiction of economic and social development in China; holding to move with the times and to bring forth new ideas constantly so as to inspect problems of China's social development from progressive and global perspectives; founding the party to serve the public and holding the power for the people to follow thoroughly the party's mass line and mass viewpoint and to represent the fundamental interests of the most broad masses of the people in China; strengthening the self construction of the party so as to increase the party's creativeness, cohesiveness and effectiveness and maintaining the party's advanced position so as to realize self improvement and self development and so on.
