论译者的媒介特征

摘    要:媒介指的是各种信息的传输手段。在跨文化的传播活动中 ,译者就起着不同文化信息传输的媒介作用。作为传播媒介 ,译者是如何发挥这一功能的 ?译者作为媒介 ,与其他媒介有什么区别 ?他的特点是什么 ?本文将以跨文化传播学为视角 ,讨论分析译者作为传播媒介的种种特征。笔者认为 ,作为跨文化传播的媒介 ,译者一方面负有社会责任 ,并在传播策略上有一定的自主性 ;另一方面 ,他的跨文化传播活动要受到政治、经济、文化等因素的制约

Abstract:A medium refers to a variety of means for information communication. In intercultural communication, a translator functions as a medium that goes between people of different cultures. How does the translator play the role as a medium? What are the characteristics that distinguish a translator medium from other media, such as printing media, electronic media and others? This paper analyses the features of a translator medium in terms of intercultural communication studies. The author believes that in cross culture communication, on the one hand, a translator has social responsibilities and certain subjective initiative in communicative strategies, and on the other hand, his/her intercultural activities will be influenced by political, economic, and cultural factors.
