语言规划视域下新加坡华语教育的五大关系

摘    要:新加坡中小学华语教育正在经历着急剧的变革,无论在宏观规划还是微观教学方面都面临着机遇和挑战。文章通过对新加坡华语教育中存在并急需解决的五对矛盾关系的分析,从语言规划角度探讨了新加坡华语教育(主要是小学华语教学)的现状和未来发展趋势。希望这种探讨有利于从新的高度和视角揭示海外华语教育的宏观微妙性和微观复杂程度,从而促进汉语的海外传播和教学。

Abstract:Singapore society has been experienced rapid change over last recent years, so its language life and linguistic politics are facing chances and challenges. In this paper, drawing upon the latest development occurred in theories of both language planning and language acquisition research, five relationships are identified to be critical in the further development of Chinese language learning and maintenance. Having no attempt to provide any answer or solution to the issue, the paper endeavors to reveal sociolinguistic factors that underline the future success of Chinese language education in Singaporean context, with hope to invoke further investigation of the complexities of Chinese overseas spread in a polity with muhicultural settings.
