《诗论》说《关雎》等七篇释义

《诗论》为亲闻孔子《诗》学的弟子所作，对照文献，　最可能是子夏。现在看，《诗论》和《诗序》、《毛传》，在思想观点上虽有承袭，但实际　距离是相当大的，即以《关雎》等七篇而论，差别即很明显。《诗序》不可能是子夏本人的　作品，只能说是由子夏开始的《诗》学系统的产物。但无论《诗序》还是《毛传》，都确实　有《诗论》的影子，这对我们认识《诗》学传承，十分重要。

On the Doctrine of Poetics and the Exposition of Guan Ju and Others Articles

Poetics was compiled by Confucius'disciples who have attended his lectures on Poetry. Most prob ably it should be Zi Xia according to relative reference books. Dwelling upon th is problem now, one can discern that though there is ideological inheritance amo ng Poetics, Preface to Poetry, and Mao Zhuan , there is considerable difference, especially regarding to Guan Ju and other six articles. Instead of being written by Zi Xia himself,Preface to Poetry is the product of the systematic research on Poetry starting from Zi Xia. Nevertheless, both Preface to Poetry and Mao Zhuan represent similarities with Poetics, which is of great importance for us to recognize the inh eritance of Poetics study.
