| Abstract: | The present paper is a comprehensive survey of the medical doctor system, in terms of the establishment of physicians, the selection of physicians, and treatment of the diseases of the royal family, of the long historical periods from the Pre-Qin to the Western and Eastern Han Dynasties, concluding that the nature of medical doctor system in ancient China is to serve the royal families and the bureaucracies. |
