浅析法律英语文本的语篇特点

随着经济的发展和对外交流的频繁,国内对法律语言学的研究在近十几年来逐渐发展起来。本文以系统功能语法中的三大纯理功能为理论框架,以《中华人民共和国中外合资经营企业法》为语料,以小句为主要分析单位,分别从三大功能入手,通过分析及物性、名物化等特征探讨了该语料反映出的法律语篇所具有的规范性、稳定性、复杂性、严谨性等特点,有助于学习者在工作、学习中更好地理解、掌握、运用法律英语。

An Analysis of Discourse Features of Legal Texts

With the rapid development of Chinese economy and the higher frequency of foreign exchanges,our research on English of law,an important register of language,has attracted more and more attention. This paper offers an analysis of a piece of law of English under the theatrical guide of three metafunctions in the systemic-Functional grammar. The chosen material is Law of the People's Republic of China on Chinese-Foreign Equity Joint Ventures. The results of analysis show that this discourse is characterized by norm,stability,complexity and many other features. The discovery of these features will offer much help to legislative language learners in their understanding and application.
