摘    要:文章对功能驱动的产品设计过程进行了分析,对影响设计工作量的主要因素的计算方法进行了定义,并在此基础上建立了产品设计工作量的神经网络预测模型。预测精度评价结果表明,这些因素定义和模型能够提供足够精确的预测。

Abstract:Product design projects are faced with a problem of severe schedule and cost overruns,of which the underestimate of design effort during project planning is the major cause.In this paper,the authors first analyze the product design process based on function decomposition,then define the major effort-influence factors such as product complexity,technical difficulty,design team capacity and management complexity and finally present a product design effort estimate model based on function decomposition with an artificial neural network method.And the performance evaluation results reveal that the ANN model is a promising method to perform accurate estimates for engineering design projects.
