毛泽东和邓小平都是伟大的无产阶级革命家，但他们的革命观并不完全相同。毛泽东对于革命的诸要素均有精辟的阐述；在毛泽东的科学革命观指导下，中国革命取得了辉煌胜利。但由于他在社会主义建设时期仍以阶级斗争为革命重心，导致了种种失误。十一届三中全会以后，邓小平吸取历史的经验教训，根据时代发展的需要，赋予革命以崭新的内涵，使革命的重心由阶级斗争转向改革和发展生产力，从而将中国推上了现代化建设的快车道。

From Mao Zedong to Deng Xiaoping:Evolution and Development in the Outlook on Revolution

Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping are both great revolutionaries,but they are not entriely the same in their outlooks on revolution.Mao has made brilliant expositions on the important factors of revolution,and under his scientific outlook of revolution,China scored great victories.But he insisted on taking class struggle as the key link in the period of socialist construction,which brought about errors and mistakes.After the 3rd plenary session of the 11th CPC central committee,Deng drew on experiences and lessons in history and,suiting the need of development of the times,gave new meanings to revolution,shifted the focus of revolution from class struggle to reform and developing productive forces,thereby pushed China on to the fast traffic lane of modernization.
