英汉词语的文化梳理与教学

摘    要:外语教学应该重视文化对比 ,因为语言差异往往来自其传承、规约于不同文化的差异 ,或者说是语言世界观的差异。对于中国的英语学习者而言 ,就是广义的西方文化与中国文化结构上的差异 :英语受制于曲折型语言的思维方式 ,汉语受制于综合型词根语的思维方式。这种差异 ,以其对词汇系统的影响而导致产生的语义层面上的空缺、抵牾 ,最是令学习者困惑。本文从跨文化传通的角度入手 ,在语言分割、词汇空缺及修辞意义三个层面上分析、比较了英汉词汇语义结构的不同文化内涵及其投射带来的影响 ,并对相应的教学策略进行了初步讨论

Abstract:In teaching of foreign languages,we should pay attention to cultural comparison because the differences of languages are often ones of different cultures from their customs and traditions or ones of their languages world outlook.To Chinese English learners they are broadly differences in Western and Chinese cultural structures,i.e.English is restrained by the thinking way of the tortuous-type language and Chinese,by the thinking way of the comprehensive-type language with word roots.These differences with their influence upon the word system cause the blankness and contradiction in the semantic meaning,which make learners most puzzled.In this article from the communication of overriding cultlure,the wtiters have analysed and compared the different cultural contents of semantic meaning structures between Chinese and English and their influence in languaege division,vocabulary blankness and figurative meaning and also briefly discussed the correspondent teaching tactics
