| Abstract: | As a trend of thought in aesthetics, surrealism, prevailing in Europe in the beginning of the 20th century, greatly influenced the ideology and art of that time. Its theories and artistic styles also had an impact on poster designers, especially in terms of techniques and methods of manifestation. By using negative logic and extra - space time and fanaticism in reason, the designers were a-ble to endow plain works with magic power, and produce a strong visional impact and increase the attracting value of advertisement at its maximum. So it is concluded that surrealism had important affects on upgrading the poster artistic creation. |
