| 摘 要： | 美国是个移民国家,这些移民在不同的移民阶段经历着不同的生存困境。伯纳德.马拉默德的《店员》显示出,美国第一代犹太移民的生存困境主要表现在三个方面:犹太教与犹太民族的历史对第一代犹太移民的深刻影响;美国以及欧洲的排犹主义的影响;美国的经济危机、自由竟争制度,以及犹太移民之间缺乏协作的影响。
