摘    要:语言衔接和语义连贯是语篇分析的重要内容,是语篇连接的两个重要手段。本文探讨了如何在英语阅 读教学中运用语篇分析帮助学生了解陌生词语的基本涵义以及认识文章的语篇结构,以提高其英语阅读能力。

Abstract:Linguistic cohesion and semantic coherence are important components of discourse analysis, and they are two essential means for discourse connection. This paper discusses how discourse analysis is applied to the teaching of English reading to help students get to know the basic meaning of an unknown word as well as the discourse structure of an article so that their ability to read in English can be enhanced.
