1976-2000:鲁迅“向左转”问题的当代回应

“新时期”开始前后,鲁迅思想“转变”问题一度成为现代文学研究界的热点。随着对“改造国民性”等命题的重新评价或发掘,以及对鲁迅前期思想的日益重视,有关鲁迅思想“转变”的讨论渐入冷寂。倒是以鲁迅“向左转”为潜在前提而对鲁迅思想价值评估的趋势,在社会文化和学术思想两个层面逐渐兴盛起来。在“祛左翼化”社会潜在思潮中,“褒胡贬鲁”和“守鲁贬胡(或不贬胡)”观点尖锐对立;与此同时,鲁迅与自由主义思想的关联也被收入视野。新的历史条件下对“左翼”价值的重新发现,也使对鲁迅遗产的评价处于更为复杂的格局中。

From 1976 to 2000: a contemporary response to the question of Lu Xun's "turning to radicalism in ideology"

With the great changes in 1976 and the following few years, Lu Xun’s “turning to radicalism” once became a hot issue in contemporary literature research. Though a more objective reflection of Lu Xun’s thoughts made the dispute gradually died out, a new trend of re-evaluating Lu Xun’s ideology on the basis of his turning to radicalism attracts increasingly attention on the levels of social culture and academic thoughts. There is a sharp contradiction between the appraisals of Lun Xun and Hu Shi. Meanwhile, a relationship between Lu Xun and liberalism has been brought into discussion. The new recognition of radicalism under the new conditions also makes the appraisal of Lu Xun’s ideological legacy a more complicated task.
