单一回指语言类型及英译策略刍议——余华小说《许三观卖血记》个案研究

文学作品中的叙述频率强调事件与被叙述次数之间的数字关系。如用同样的词汇、语块、句式乃至语篇表现不断重复的故事场景和故事情节,就是单一回指叙述。作为对《马太受难记》音乐叙述方式的文学模仿,《许三观卖血记》的最大文体特点是单一回指叙述方式,然而一经翻译,其英译本的读者反映与原作的读者反映相去甚远,原因在于翻译策略未考虑叙述方式的文体表征特点,故需借此重新定位翻译策略。

Language Pattern of Singulative Narrative and Its Translation Strategies——A Case Study of Chronicle of a Blood Merchant by Yu Hua

Narrative frequency stresses the numeral relation between the event and the times of being narrated and can be divided into four kinds. The linguistic representation of the natural rate in between the events that are in the same form or proportion results in a special form of singulative narrative. Chronicle of a Blood Merchant,as the iconic imitation of Matthaus Passion from narrative frequency,does not achieve the equal readers＇ response as the source book,and the translation strategy needs to be reconsidered from the perspective of narrative frequency.
