论郭小川建国后的心路历程

郭小川是以“战士诗人”著称的,但“战士”之语,实不足以概括复杂的郭小川。作为战士,他奋力献身革命事业,并创作了许多气势豪迈的时代战歌。但他又不是一个别人能够轻易驯服者,而是一位向往人格独立、力图以个性化的方式介入历史的知识分子。只是因个人及历史的局限,郭小川终生未能达到完整而独立的人格境界。郭小川留给后人的,不只是他的诗文,更是关于文化人格、诗性精神等命题的思考。

Guo Xiaochan was known as a fighter-poet, but he was in fact more than that. He aspired for the independence of personality, and wanted to get involved in history. Limited by his own knowledge and the times, however, he failed to attain a perfect and independent realm of personality. What he left behind is not only his poetry, but also his ideas of personality and the spirit of poetry.
