| Abstract: | Iris Murdoch＇ s masterpiece The Black Prince is an experimental novel in that it employs a series of textual strategies for the sake of the thematically exploration into art and reality. Plotting,allusions, narrative strategies and the overall structure together make up the response-inviting structure of the text, which acts upon the readers, stimulating them to create the meaning of the novel and respond actively to its philosophical connotation. |
