河南回族掌教制度的历史变迁

河南回族掌教制度历史变化呈现出的特点,有和全国其他地方共性的东西,也有自己的中原特色。一方面,掌教的职权由政教合一逐渐发展到纯粹的宗教管理,与官方关系愈来愈淡薄,由开放走向封闭;另一方面,掌教制不断地进行调适,掌教内部权力模式逐渐由单一化向多元化方向发展。随着掌教制度的变迁,权力在国家和宗教之间,以及在回族内部之间的不断调整变化,对回族内部松散的联系进行整合和维系,不仅使伊斯兰教在回族内部得以不断地延续和发展,而且加强了对回族认同范畴的构建。
