语类与语域分析及对英语写作教学的启示

摘    要:以往的英语写作教学往往偏重修辞和语法方面的训练,忽视体裁和题材方面的分析。语篇的功能是为了实现说话者的意图,而作者选择什么样的语言和表达方式都要受到语类和语域的制约。语类和语域是语篇生成的文化语境和情景语境的反映。学生在作文前应当明确话题的语类和语域特点,从而使用得体的语言表达方式。

Abstract:The traditional teaching of English writing focused on grammatical and rhetorical training,giving little attention to the analysis of genre and register.Any text's social functions to fulfill speakers' intention and it's choices of language and form are determined by the cultural and situational context which are reflected by genre and register respectively.Thus the students should be trained to have a clear understanding of the characteristics of genre and register of a topic before they begin to expand it...
