Deng Xiaoping's theory of development is based on the two themes of peace of development of our age. It is philosophically based on the materialist conception of history that productive forces are the ultimate motive forces of social development; it is a good summary of China's modern history and the historical experiences of socialist construction in China and some other countries; it merges from a deep retrospection of China's national conditions.
