| 摘 要： | 张华先生英译的《中国的神仙》一书功力深厚,观点独到,但白璧微瑕。书中有关中国古代官职的名称,大部分在英文中缺少对等词。中国特有的道教哲学体系,在英文中是一个文化空缺,而有关“玉”的文化暗含,在中西文化间有很大的差异。译者应当根据不同的情况,分别采用音译、音译加注释、意译等方法。

| Abstract: | Immortals in Ancient China translated by Mr.Zhang Hua is very well translated,but inevitably the translation has its flaw.For instance,there exists a lexical gap about the official title and also a cultural gap about the unique system of Taoism between the English culture and that of ancient China.What's more,the connotations about "yu"are greatly different between English culture and Chinese culture.The methods of transliteration,transliteration plus annotation,free translation,etc.should be applied. |
