汉英习语文化差异及对外汉语习语教学策略

摘    要:在跨文化交际的过程中,对交流产生阻碍的一个重要因素就是文化差异。语言是文化的载体,故语言可以反映文化。而习语又是语言中的精华,故在反映文化差异上也具有较强的代表性。论述了影响汉英习语形成的六种中西文化差异以及习语的对外汉语教学策略。习语教学应该从文化入手,使留学生全面了解文化差异,以提其高跨文化交际的能力。

Abstract:During the process of inter-cultural communication,the cultural difference is an important factor which obstructs communication.Language is the carrier of culture and therefore reflects culture.In addition,as the essence of language,idioms are considered as the representative of cultural differences.This paper discusses six cultural differences which influence the formation of Chinese and English idioms,and the teaching strategy Chinese idioms.The cultural approach in idioms teaching enables international students to fully understand the cultural differences and therefore improve their ability of inter-cultural communication.
