摘    要:莎士比亚在其喜剧创作中,通过女性对爱情、自由、平等及自身尊严和权利的追求,歌颂了女性的勇气、智慧和美德,阐述了新的女性审美标准.文章还从审美的角度剖析了女性弱势地位这一现象的历史成因,论述了莎士比亚喜剧中女性主体意识的思想内涵及时代意义.

Abstract:Shakespeare, in the process of creating his comedies, through the woman characters' pursuit forlove, freedom, equality and their dignity and rights, extols their courage, wisdom and virtue, expoundingthe brand-new aesthetic criterion of the female. This paper also comes to discuss the historical causes of theinferior position of the female from the aesthetic point of view. Finally under review are the conceptual impli-cation and the historical significance of the subjective female consciousness.
