| Abstract: | After an analysis upon the existing problems in English teaching for Ph.D candidates,the author points out that it is necessary to change the traditional way of teaching and discusses the approaches to the improvement of the practical English language competence of the candidates with the consideration of such aspects as teaching modes,teaching methods and curriculums. |
