| Abstract: | The attention laid on thinking and embodied cognition is sure to come to discourse. With the development of cognitive science, cognitive linguistics has already enter a new layer of study, which we called discourse. This paper tries to explore discourse from two important theories of cognitive linguistics ——iconicity and conceptual metaphor. |
