英语非情态性一般否定句的认知研究和翻译方法

英语否定句覆盖面很广,所以翻译英语否定句也是一个重要的问题。在英语所有否定句中,带有情态动词的否定句（即情态性否定句）,由于受情态动词的语义限定,一般比较容易翻译;而翻译不带情态动词的否定句却比较困难,这里涉及到许多因素。文章重点研究英语非情态性一般否定句的五种类型,并指出它们的顺译和倒译方法以及应该注意的问题。

A Cognizance Research on English Non-Modal Verb Negative Sentences and Their Translation

English negative sentences have a wide coverage. Therefore the translation of English negative sentences is an important aspect in the field of translation. Yet among all English negative sentences, those that carry modal verbs （ie modal-verb negative sentences） being semantically defined by modal verbs are comparatively easy to be rendered into Chinese. While those without modal-verbs can not ,which involves several factors. This paper discusses mainly on the five types of English non-modal verb negative sentences and points out, by the way, the matters to be concerned in applying normal and reverse words order way of translation.
