West Marxism culminates in the critical theory of the Frankfurt School.Studies on the Frankfurt School always focus on their critical programs about the projects of modernity,science and technology,culture industry,and sociology of critical theory.There is little discussion as to their insight into the critical hermeneutics.By rethinking Max Horkheimer and Theodor W.Adorno' s work Dialectics of Enlightenment,the paper debates about their contribution to the critical hermeneutics.
