| Abstract: | It was a self- saving act for Su Manshu to convert himself to Buddhism because he couldn't realize his 'hero' ideal and get rid of his deep love for the 'beauty'. The conversion is an external act rather than his internal sincere belief, so he is destined not to be saved. |
