On the Popularity of the Flood Myth and Its Cognition Values

Flood myth is widespread to exist within the scope of world,so scholars in this field have analyzed it in order to investigate the reason why flood myth has spread everywhere.They have given various views.Basing on these views,my viewpoint has been put forward below: the mythological catholicity in flood involves the culture spreads problem;flood myth with topic of "seeking refuge" is lord,but also reflect the active spirit,just as the Gong and Yu conquered the flood;the flood is mythological topic of "celestial spirits punishment",which permeated the religious idea;that mankind had been demolished in flood is tragedy,but "mankind give a new life" just set question really;contact between the flood myth and "civilization origin near big rivers" still need to be studied thoroughly.
