| 摘 要： | 在西方世界兴起的"信仰复归"浪潮中,约翰·厄普代克创造出小人物"兔子"。"兔子"的追寻信仰代表了作者本人对于信仰问题的探索。作者通过展示"兔子"在信仰追寻中的宗教观念变迁,深刻地说明了宗教信仰已无法成为现代人生活中的精神指引;"信仰复归"已不能成为解决现代人"精神危机"的出路。

| Abstract: | In the tendency of "restoration of belief" in 1950s, Updike created the hero-Rabbit, whose pursuit of faith represents the author's thinking of the tendency. Through showing the change of religious view of Rabbit, the author points out that religious belief can no longer offer spiritual guide for modern people and the restoration of belief can only result in disillusion. |
