先秦儒学的基本特质

先秦儒学不是宗教,但儒学并非没有类似西方基督教的超越性,儒学的超越性不同于西方的外在超越,而是一种道德自觉的内在超越。这种超越不寄托于人格神上帝,对人自己创造的神没有敬畏感,但是对自然之天的共生共感、交互关系的宇宙即能体现人道的天是有敬畏之心的。儒学是一种人文宗教。儒家的王道政治建立在宗法制度和同姓不婚制度之上,对家族中的人自然要讲为政以德,儒家的王道政治在理想化的想象中塑造了三代之治。天治主义与民本主义的结合是中国古代政治思想的根基。人人可以成为天子的民本思想较之基督教在上帝面前人人平等的思想似乎更为平等,这是后世民本主义之总根芽。本文论述了先秦儒学不是宗教胜似宗教,政治伦理化和伦理政治化以及以民为本和君权至上三个基本特质。
