乌托邦——当代教育的根本品质

“乌托邦”一词一直被视为空想的代名词。事实上，乌托邦精神更为深刻的、深层次的内涵与意义却是一种对理想的追求，对现实的超越，对内在精神的向往与关怀。从这个意义上说，当代教育应具有乌托邦精神。第一，人的提升，是当代教育必然的逻辑和核心性使命，乌托邦之路是教育生成人、提升人，走内在超越之路的必然选择。没有乌托邦精神，教育就难以真正达到以人为本的境界。第二，有史以来的教育或立足于社会政治理性主义或立足于社会经济功利主义的存在依据、逻辑与旨趣，因而是外在化的、非人化的。当代教育必须摒弃这种工具主义品性，从他律走向自律、从外在走向内在，从而实现乌托邦的理想境界。

Utopia——Radical Property of Contemporary Education

It is argued in this paper that education of all ages has been based on socio- political rationalism or socioeconomic utilitarianism. The contemporary education should rid itself of the property of being a tool - transferring from being submissive to being independent before entering a utopian world.
