英语广告中修辞格的运用

摘    要:广告文体自身的特点要求采用多种手段进行广告设计,其中修辞格的运用是一种有效的方法。这种方法在英语和汉语广告中均有体现。修辞是一门劝说艺术,具有劝说消费者,引起其兴趣并最终采取购买行为的功能。文章结合英语广告实例详细分析了修辞对广告效果的积极促进作用。

Abstract:Stylistic features of advertisement require that various written skills should be employed. Among the skills, the employment of figures of speech in advertisement is an effective way. This is because rhetoric is an art of persuading. It has the function of advising consumers, arousing their interests and persuading them into purchasing products. This paper illustrates the positive role of figures of speech in Einglish advertisements with many effective cases.
