| Abstract: | The novel" Wuthering Heights" tells of a long tale of two families. The conflict between them provides the novel with both content and form - - - two love stories, the destiny of two generations and parallel structure. Dreams are used as foreshadowing to foretell the important events. The flashback and multiple narrative methods make readers deeply involved. The using of narrators gives a realistic framework to the extraordinary story. In one word, its artistic form is perfectly combined with content and makes the novel a great success. |
