| Abstract: | Theoretically, phonetic data and phonologtical rules for use in text-to-speech conversion by computer are based on how character strings record speech strings. In combination with computer implementation strategy,this paper discusses the complexity and main linguistic issues encountered in the course of convening Chinese text intostandard Chinese speech. |
