本文认为清代中期新疆北部城市崛起的动力机制,一是体现在国家行政力量的推动,二是北疆商业市场机制的形成对北部城市地位的确立和巩固意义重大,改变了历史时期“南重北轻”的新疆城市分布格局。

Exploring and Analyzing the Motive Mechanism of the Rise of the Cities in Northern Xinjiang in the Mid Qing Period

The author thinks that the motive mechanism of the rise of the cities in northern Xinjiang is reflected in two aspects: first, the state administrative power pushed this process; secondly, the formation of the market mechanism in northern Xinjiang exerted crucial influence on the establishment and enhancement of the status of the cities in northern Xinjiang and changed the traditional distribution pattern of the cities in Xinjiang, i.e., the number of the cities located in southern Xinjiang exceeds that of northern Xinjiang.
