| Abstract: | Placing themselves in the tradition of poetry, the poets of Ming Dynasty had to appraise the poets before them. Among those, poems by Du Fu was a very important subject undoubtedly. Focusing on the Yang Shen's views towards DuFu's poems, this article studies the difference in poetic theories between Yang Shen and Li Mengyang, and analyses the cause that led to the difference. |
