WTO为教育服务业制定了开放、平等、透明、自由的竞争性规则。我国高等学校在入世以后面临着一系列挑战 ,包括观念冲击、办学主体增加、高校中心地位逐步形成、人才资源国际化、高校生源竞争加剧和人才培养目标变化等。高校应从多渠道筹措办学经费、提高管理水平、吸纳世界优秀人才、提高人才培养质量、明确办学价值取向、拓展高等教育服务市场诸方面 ,主动应对挑战

Entry into WTO and Development of Institutions of Higher Learning in China

WTO has laid down the competition rules of openness, equality, transparency and freedom for the educational service industry. After China's entry into WTO, the institutions of higher learning in the country are facing a series of challenges,from conceptual shock, increase in the number of educational service providers, gradual formation of central role of colleges and universities in the higher education system, internationalization of human resources, growing contest for undergraduate recruitment to changes in the training objective. To meet these challenges, colleges and universities must enthusiastically raise funds through multi channels, improve the management, advertise for talents across the world, elevate the quality of talents cultivation, define its educational value orientation and compete for the higher education service market.
