城市虚拟社区:内涵、功能与建设

城市虚拟社区是依托于现实城市在网络空间中形成的人际网络。与其他虚拟社区相比,它具有更明显的地域性、现实倾向性和边界模糊性的特点。城市虚拟社区在城市建设中起着社会安全阀、弱势群体的求助台、城市民主的催化剂和市政执法的监督者等功能。对于城市虚拟社区的建设,一要转变观念,变回避为鼓励;二要转变方式,变管理为治理;三要建设制度,变短期为长期。

Virtual City Community: Its Connoation, Function and Construction

Virtunl city communities are interpersonal networks formed in the cyberspace on the basis of real cities. Compared with other virtual communities, they have obvious regional character, the character of leaning towards reality, and the character of boundary ambiguity. Virtual city communities, in ur- ban construction, play the role of social safety valve, what the disadvantaged can turn to for help, a cat- alyst for urban democracy, and a supervisor of municipal law enforcement. For the construction of virtu- al city communities, we should change our ideas, turning from evadign to encouraging; change our methods, turning managing to governing; build a system, turning short-term to long-term.
