试述民俗内涵的流变

民俗学被引进中国之初,包括以后一段时间,对于民俗的界定一直没有脱离民间文学、民间古俗甚至传统历史学的影响。以钟敬文先生为代表的新时期中国民俗学界对民俗的界定大大扩充了其内涵的外延。近年来又有人提出了泛民俗的观点,是对传统民俗界定的挑战。但是不管怎样,只有将民俗内涵的界定与时代和社会发展的潮流紧紧联系在一起,才能凸现出这门学科的重要性,才会促进学科理论的完善,也才能在众多学科中争得一席之地,而不被相关学科淹没与吞噬。

On the Origins and Changes of Folk Inteuson

At the beginning of folklore being introduced into China, including along time after that, the definition of folk never broke away from the influence of folkliterature and ancient folk, even the traditional history. The folklore educational circleof the new period, Mr. Zhong Jingwen as its representative, offered their newdefinition of folk. This had greatly expanded the extension of its intension. In therecent years, someone put forward the view of extensive folk. It is a challenge to thetraditional definition. But in any case, only linking the definition of folk tightly withthe trend of era and the development of society can we show the importance of thisdiscipline, promote the perfection of its theory and fight for one seat in numerousdisciplines. Otherwise, it will be flooded and engulfed by relevant discipline.
