| 摘 要： | Lakoff的概念隐喻理论对隐喻的研究具有深远的影响 ,它使两千多年以来一直作为修辞手段的隐喻成为一种重要的认知方式 ,从而为认知语言学的发展奠定了坚实的基础。而Fau connier的合成空间理论是目前最具权威性的隐喻理论。本文试图从认知的角度研究隐喻 ,探讨了这两种理论的差异与各自的局限性。

| Abstract: | Lakoff's conceptual metaphor theory has had a profound influence on the study of metaphor. It makes metaphor--a rhetorical device over 2,000 years--an important and essential cognitive method and lays a firm basis for the development of cognitive linguistics. While Fauconnier's blending theory is one of the most powerful theories on metaphor to date. This paper studies metaphor from a cognitive perspective. It first gives a brief introduction to these two theories. Then the author makes an analysis of their differences and limitations. |
