余光中戏剧翻译实践研究——以《不可儿戏》为例

摘    要:余光中的翻译思想得益于文学创作,他认为翻译与创作密不可分,翻译是一种有限的创作,是一门变通的艺术。以余光中的戏剧译作《不可儿戏》为例,对其"译原意而非原文"的翻译原则及不拘一格、灵活变通的翻译策略进行探讨,对其所运用的意译、词性转换、巧用叠词、化用成语、巧用对仗句、化解长句等翻译手法进行了具体分析。

Abstract:Yu Kwang-chung's translation thought derives from his literary creation.He holds that translation is closely related to creation,but it is a limited creation and a flexible art.Taking as an example the translation of The Importance of Being Earnest,one of Wilde's most successful plays,this paper demonstrates his translation principle of "translating the original meaning instead of the original text".As regards his translation strategies,he never sticks to one strategy but employs a variety of strategies,including free translation,conversion,repetition,division and flexible use of Chinese idioms and antithetical couplets.
