浅议“花”在中英诗歌中的表现及文化内涵

花儿从绽放到凋零过程的迅速和短暂会让诗人更深刻地体验生命的兴盛和衰亡,更能产生＂生灭原知色是空＂的慨叹。花之所以能成为感人之物中最为重要的一种力量主要原因是花儿能赋予生命最为深切也是最为完整的感触。对于诗人敏感的心灵来说,这感触尤为真切、生动。咏花诗在中英诗歌中因此向来不乏上品之作。然而,由于两国文化历史背景的不同,中英咏花诗自然会有不同的特征和文化内涵。

REFLECTIONS ON THE EXPRESSION AND CULTURAL IMPLICATION OF FLOWERS IN ENGLISH AND CHINESE POETRY

The shortness and transmission of flowers from their bloom to their death more easily get poets to experience the rise and decline of life, to sigh about ＂the philosophical nothingness of life and death＂. The reason that flowers can deeply touch the heart is that flowers can bestow the most profound feelings on life. For the empowered soul of poets, this touching is all the more vivid and real. Poems on flowers in English and Chinese are never in lack; they are, however, different in their character and cultural implication in virtue of the different background in terms of culture and history.
