汉译英中的两种"中国式英语"

汉译英中经常出现“中国式英语”现象:有时,由于拘泥原文的字面意思,机械地“对号入座”,导致译文不顺而且难懂;有时,由于在英文中确实找不到相应的带有中国特色的词汇。在第二种情况下产生的“中国式英语”,不仅使英语的表达方式更加丰富,而且让世界了解了中国的特色文化。对于两种不同的“中国式英语”,应该区别对待。

The Analysis of Chinglish Existing in Chinese-English Translation

Chinglish often occurs in Chinese-English translation:it is partly because translation is rigidly faithful to the original and is made one word to one word mechanically,which leads to incoherent and obscure translation;and it is partly because there is no appropriate English words for words with Chinese characteristics. But Chinglish under the latter circumstance not only enriches English expressions but also makes the world un-derstand the traditional Chinese culture.We should treat the two kinds of Chinglish differently.
