科学理性在中国发展的思想前提——实事求是

以道德为中心的中国传统文化造成了科学理性精神的匮乏,成为教条主义产生的根源。历次教条主义＂唯上＂＂唯书＂的错误表现,有着深厚的忠君行孝、尊从孔孟之道的中国传统文化根源。毛泽东在与教条主义斗争的过程中创立了实事求是的思想路线。这一思想路线不仅在理论上清算了教条主义,而且也化解了传统文化造成的教条主义与科学理性的对立,为科学理性在中国的传播和发展开辟了道路。

Seeking Truth from Facts the Ideological Premise for the Development of Scientific Rationality in China

The fact that the Chinese traditional culture took ethics as its focus has resulted in the lack of scientific rationality and also given birth to doctrinarism.Such mistaken doctrinary views as that everything depends on the superiors＇ decision or on what was said in books,actually originated from Chinese traditional culture which valued greatly loyalty and filial piety and other tenets of confucianism.Mao Zedong set up the ideological line of seeking truth from facts in struggling against doctrinarism.It not only clears up doctrinarism in theory but also resolves the contradictions between scientific rationality and the doctrinarism resulting from traditional culture,thus opening up a road for the spread and development of scientific rationality in China.
