| 摘 要： | 通过对比法探讨了英汉两种语言中颜色词的差异，说明由于历史背景、民族心理、文化传统、宗教信仰等方面的差异，表示颜色的方法和用词有很多不同，对同一颜色的理解也有很大差异。同时，论述了颜色词的四种翻译方法，阐述了深刻把握颜色词的社会文化内涵是准确得体翻译这些词汇的关键。

| Abstract: | This paper presents the differences between English and Chinese color words through a comparative analysis, pointing out that due to different historic backgrounds, national mentalities, cultural traditions,religious beliefs and etc., there exist many differences in expressing colors and color words as well as in approaching the same color. It puts forward four methods for translating the color words and holding the view that a deep understanding of social and culture-loaded words is the core of translation. |
