| 摘 要： | 近年来,现代英语中的禁忌语发生了变化,一些以前被认为是禁忌的语言开始被逐渐接受,而一些新的禁忌语言开始产生。这些新的禁忌语言大多与美国种族有关。本文对现代英语中禁忌语的变化作了初步的探讨,并提出了美国种族称呼的一些建议。

| Abstract: | Recent years have seen a gradual change in the area of taboo words in the English language.Some of the words that used to be regarded as taboo are now generally being accepted while a new group of taboo words has emerged.This new group of taboo words largely is made up of some racial slurs and ethnic issues play a very important role in taboo words in modern English. |
