Abstract:Case-study is an important teaching approach in normal education and teachers training pro gram. Scientific and rational use of case-study approach in teaching elementary language methodology can help students accumulate practical experience, improve research ability and cultivate ability of innovation and cooperation, help establish equal dialogue between teacher and students, and improve teaching quality. Thus it has great significance. Employing case-study approach, one must clarify teaching goal, carefully choose and analyze teaching cases, actively reform and innovate cases, and thus realize the mutual development of the construction of teaching theories and of the cultivation of ability in teaching practice.
