| 摘 要： | 大学英语后续课程的开设受到越来越多高校的重视，成为保证学生在整个大学期间英语语言水平稳步提高、英语综合应用能力不断增强的有效途径。从《大学英语课程教学要求》（以下简称《课程要求》）以及社会建构主义理论方面，论述了大学英语后续课程的开设对大学英语教师专业发展的要求。
