文学张力论纲

文学张力可以界定为:在整个文学活动过程中,凡当至少两种似乎不相容的文学元素构成新的统一体时,各方并不消除对立关系,而是互相比较、衬映、抗衡、冲击,使读者的思维不断在各极中往返、游移,在多重观念的影响下产生的立体感受。它具有四个特征:多义性,情感的饱绽,包孕矛盾对立,弯弓待发的运动感。文学张力中的美是一种"坚奥的美",经历了惊讶-压抑、涵咏-释放两个阶段后,指向审美超越。优秀的文本建立在恰当的张力度的基础之上,使文本的信息量和由文本激发的读者审美感受量都指向最大化。

An Outline on Literary Tension

Literary tension occurs at the time when at least two factors seemingly uncongenial to one another constitute into a new unity,whereas they do not eradicate one another,but they compare with,complement with,oppose to,and attack one another so as that the reader' imaginative power is triggered off,and a stereoscopic feeling is brought about.It has four characteristics: semantic plurality;emotional richness;embedded contradictory opposition;and dynamic ness of the arrow on the bowstring.The beauty contained in literary tension is rather a kind of "abstruse beauty" than a kind of "ease beauty",which sometimes can not be understood and accepted easily.Excellent literary works based on the proper degree of literary tension are to maximize the information of the text and the reader's aesthetic experience excited by it.
